Bible Distribution

10,000 Bibles gifted to Christians who have never had access to the word of God in print.

We believe it is essential for anyone with faith to be able to read and learn for themselves the foundational truths of their religion. Although the vast majority of Ugandans identify as Christians, most have very limited access to Bibles either in print or online. This is of course very dangerous as many, even pastors, take advantage of people’s lack of knowledge to manipulate or abuse the Christian message.

Whether Bibles are carried to Uganda by visitors or purchased here in local languages, JENGA acts as a hub for Bible distribution in the eastern region. In partnership with the Alpha program in secondary schools, JENGA has distributed Bibles to thousands of students. We have also gifted Bibles to hundreds of reputable churches and pastors for the benefit of the congregation. Over the years, JENGA has been able to distribute approximately 10,000 Bibles.

As a Christian organization, we believe it’s a must for people to be educated and empowered through the word of God.

Recheal’s Story

Before JENGA ran the Alpha programme in our school we were struggling with having very few Bibles. Through the generosity of the programme we now have enough Bibles which makes it much easier for us to read and share the Word of God with others.

Through the Bibles, it has given myself and my fellow students the confidence to stand and face challenges that come across our path, because we are learning that we are not the only ones who face challenges. We have learnt to find comfort in the Word of God during the times of our trials.

We are so grateful to those who so generously helped JENGA give Bibles!
