International volunteer, Co-Founder and Executive Director. Ardent movie quoter and storyteller who returns from overseas visits carrying an extra 30lb. He has an impressive ability to juggle thousands of jobs without dropping them and is a long suffering supporter of Arsenal FC!
Co-Founder and Country Director of JENGA and the overseer for everything across Wanale hill. Planter of 12 churches and Senior Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church. Recent Uganda Christian University Organisational Leadership and Management Masters graduate. He gives great hugs and makes the best pancakes you’ll ever taste.
Senior Finance Manager, who ensures the smooth running of the fabulous Finance department. Grace is a mother to eight wonderful children, loves listening to soft Christian music and is passionate about impacting the lives of the vulnerable.
Team Leader for the Youth department. Andrew’s a preacher and fellowship leader at Bethel Baptist Church, running a monthly men’s fellowship in Mooni. Husband to the stunning Sarah and father to three wonderful children.
Team Leader for the Children’s department. Certified practitioner of natural herbal medicine, Director of Good Hope Nursery School and wife to Pastor Julian and a loving mother to many. Phenomenal worship leader and South Sudanese Ambassador to JENGA, affectionately known as “Chicky-Boom”.
Programme Coordinator overseeing the project departments and Apostolic centres. Leader of Maiden Ministry and Kingdom Builders. Married to Pastor Vinnie and a recent Christian Ministry University graduate. Baker of the most delicious cakes and mother (and voice of reason) to many.
Human Resources & Operations Manager and Kenyan Ambassador to JENGA. Women’s Ministry Leader at Redeemed of the Lord Church in Maluku. Responsible for keeping the Senior Leadership in check.
Consultant for Justice and Advocacy. One of the original JENGA staff and go-to guy for all issues relating to government, police and judicial systems. Married to Jennifer and father of five children. Ensures security is ‘tight’.
Bright Beginnings Project Assistant and father to two children. Fellowships at Redeemed Church, Musoto. Loves to read, play Monopoly and reach out to vulnerable children in his community.
JENGA’s official driver. Ensures the team reach their projects and programmes. Married with two children and faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church, Mooni. Ali is a lover of reading, especially enjoying studying the Bible.
Primary Education Project Officer, worship leader and Bible Club teacher. Angella’s passion for teaching children shines through. An ardent football fan, Angella joins the ranks of JENGA’s Arsenal supporters.
Anna: International volunteer, overseer of JENGA Design, pastoral care lead for JENGA’s volunteers, wife to Dave and wonderful mother to Grace, Joseph and Judah. Dave: International Volunteer and Operations Co-ordinator of Zukuka Bora. Passionate about income generating projects and coffee, coffee, coffee. Sporter of fabulous dance moves and passionate husband and father.
Finance Officer and graduate in Business Administration from Uganda Christian University. Anna fellowships at Worship Harvest Ministries and enjoys serving on team. She’s a lover of music and listening to the Word.
Support Staff Manager and Chef. Leader of the Mothers’ Union in All Saints Nabweya Church of Uganda. Married to Soferi and mother to the lovely Gloria and Ruth. Ever joyful, Annet loves to sing.
Youth Empowerment Project Manager. Role model to juveniles in detention. Passionate about empowering youth to make wise choices for their lives. Pastor of El-Shaddai Baptist Church. Married to the beautiful Sarah and daddy to Jemimah and Jonathan. Voted JENGA’s ‘smartest gentleman’.
Youth Empowerment Psychosocial Officer. Literacy teacher to juveniles in detention. Passionate about transforming lives and mentoring young people. Sunday school teacher at Bethel Baptist Church. Loves boxing and is training to be JENGA’s boxing champion.
Gym Outreach Assistant Manager. Passionate and talented golfer – winner in Mbale Sports Club and in tournaments around Uganda. Committed to coaching the young generation and a big fan of Manchester United.
Zoe project Social Worker. Treasurer of the Youth Committee and the Association of Bethel Ministries, official decorator, translator and occasional preacher at Bethel Baptist Church. A lover of socialising, reading the Bible and listening to Christian music.
International Volunteer. Founder of Loved Children’s Centre and passionate about children with disabilities and malnutrition having equal opportunities. Bex can often be found hanging out in Namatala, running marathons or swimming laps in one of Mbale’s pools.
Finance Officer. Bible Club teacher and worship team member at Bethel Baptist Church. First ever university graduate of JENGA’s ‘Child Sponsorship’ programme. Married and mother to three handsome sons.
Livelihoods Project Assistant. Married to Martin and mother to three. Worships at Bethel Baptist Church. Maker of delicious banana pancakes!
Long trusted night watchman. Mature in age and wisdom, but young in spirit. Fervent sprightly dancer and resident silver fox.
Zoe project Social Worker. Passionate about preventing all cases of gender based violence. Married with five children and fellowships at St. Andrews Cathedral where he is involved with the youth ministry.
IT Manager. Great with tech and excellent at trouble shooting. Networker and website developer. Convinced that the Netherlands is the most beautiful country in the world, and a son who has found rest in the love of his heavenly Father.
Team Leader for the Livelihood department. A mother of four. Can be found leading at the front or ushering at the back of Bethel Baptist Church. Known for bringing words of happiness and roars of laughter wherever she goes.
Livelihood Project Assistant. Born in Nakapiripirit, now living with his wife and his first born in Namatala. An evangelist at the Endtime Message Church in Namalu. Loves to venture in museums and talented in athletics.
Leadership Administrator. Social worker and worshiper at St. Stephen’s Church of Uganda, Kamonkoli. Mother to two boys, a lover of visiting new places and spending quality time with friends and family.
Finance Manager. Coach of the multi-award winning Sky Sports football club. Prays from Bishop Wasikye Memorial Church, Namatala. Considers himself the biggest Chelsea FC fan in East Uganda and also known as, “Pep Gadiola”.
Team Leader of the Discipleship department. A pastor in Bethel Baptist Ministries, husband to his faithful, supportive wife and father of four fun-loving children. Fan of football, especially Chelsea FC.
Talented gardener. Married to his sweet wife, with lovely children. Pastor and founder of Worship Altar Church. He’s a fan of comedies, a master of wit, an awesome dancer and a lover pork and matooke.
Administrative Assistant. Sharp organiser, worshipper and self professed, “professional hope dealer”. With his contagious positive outlook, we couldn’t agree more. Out of the office, you’ll find him spreading joy as he serves in the worship and media teams at his local church.
Operations Manager for Zukuka Bora. Responsible for ensuring their delicious coffee makes its way from cherries, all the way to our mugs. The Khaukha’s (pronounced ha-oo-ha’s) family name fantastically translates as ‘insect’. Married with a son called Jayson. Passionate guitar and accordion player.
Office Cleaner. Lives in Namabasa with her loving husband and three children, in a home which is a safe place for many friends. Worshiper at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Lover of music. Loves to eat matooke with fish.
Team Leader of the Heath and Wellbeing department. A Registered Nurse, Social Worker and Public Health Specialist. Owner of the cheekiest smile and possessor of enough ‘sass’ for the entire JENGA staff combined.
Married in 2024, they’re fans of all things cross-culture. Joanna: International volunteer. Registered Midwife and EVERY GIRL Project Co-ordinator. Lover of two c’s; creativity and Christmas, and firm believer that a cup of tea solves everything. Reuben: Zukuka Bora Finance Officer. Coffee lover, with a passion for all things music and fitness and interests in history and design.
Procurement Officer, also known as the go-to person for any need in JENGA. Youth Leader at First Baptist Church, living with his lovely wife in Namatala. Instrumental in administration and ensuring the all-important legal documents are in order. Always willing to drive visitors around Mbale.
Youth Empowerment Education Officer. Literacy teacher and drumming instructor for juveniles in detention. An entrepreneur at heart with a wealth of hand skills (e.g. making soap, creams, and books) to share with youth. Has an endless supply of fun games to spice any training session.
Finance Assistant. Passionate about combining financial discipline with integrity. He plays basketball, is a guitarist and a pianist. A staunch, “North London forever” Arsenal fan!
Support Staff Assistant. Lives in Namatala with her family and worships at New Generation Church. Small in stature, but not in might. Has a smile that lights up the room and a deep, deep love for roasted sweet potatoes.
Health Project Assistant. Fellowships from New Generation Church and member of the choir. Married to the one and only Goliath Mugondi. Loves to watch movies, football, and comedies. Favourite dish is roasted chicken and matooke.
Eqipping Leaders Project Manager. Qualified Bible Lecturer and Pastor. Loves playing football and many have been on the receiving end of one of his killer tackles. A great supporter of Arsenal Football Club.
Youth Ministry Project Manager. Senior Pastor at Victory Baptist Church. Proud husband and father of four. Always ready with a big smile and a warm welcome.
Alpha and Destined Children Project Manager. Married to Joy and a mad Manchester United supporter. Possesses the biggest smile and loudest hand-clap known to man. Potentially the nicest guy in the world.
IT specialist. Happy to talk with everyone and enjoys making new friends. Lover of music and player of the guitar and piano.
Health Project Officer and Mbale City Gym Project Manager. Loves to play the drums and make the JENGA team laugh with fun and games. Self proclaimed ‘President of ALL Arsenal fans’ in Uganda.
Security Guard Team Leader. Proud husband, father and grandfather. Worshipper at Redeemed of the Lord Church, Maluku. Fan of Arsenal. Loves to eat matooke, fish and chicken.
Premises Manager. Married to his beloved wife. Blessed with seven children, and loves to play with his three grandchildren. Prays from the Catholic church in Nyondo. Serious fan of the Uganda Cranes national football team and Manchester United.
Agricultural Project Officer. Husband to his lovely wife and father to three. Lives in Mooni, Mbale City. Pastor of Zion Church under Bethel Ministries and a faithful fan of Manchester United.
Suubi Project Manager. Team player with a firm belief in fairness. Personable, persistent, patient and approachable. Outside of work you’ll find him counselling and taking part in community group meetings.
Gardener. Has a lovely wife and 10 children entrusted in his care. Prays from God is Alive Church in Namatala. Enjoys cooking food, washing clothes and fetching water for the family. Arsenal fan!
Office Assistant. Lover of music, dancing and dinners full of sautéed greens. Lives in Doko with her three children and worships at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Always a warm smile to greet you when you walk into the JENGA reception!
International Volunteer. Bright Beginnings Project Co-ordinator and Education Advisor. Teacher of twelve years in Northern Ireland. Passionate about empowering people through literacy. Best accent, “to be sure” in the JENGA office. Main motto in life, “Keep calm and have a cup of tea”.
LOVED Children’s Centre Project Manager. Wife to James and surrogate mother to many, with a house that’s always open and a kitchen that’s always cooking. International translator and jet setter. Mama ‘Osuofia’.
EVERY GIRL Project Manager. Passionate about empowering people with knowledge on menstrual and reproductive health and seeing young people empowered to reach their full potential. Joy filled worship leader, awesome youth leader and adventurous mountain hiker!
Support Staff Assistant. Rose is married and has two children. Fellowships at Redeemed of the Lord Church, Maluku and also leads their Hospital ministry. Lover of singing and athletics, especially the High Jump.
